Former neighbor Gaylord running for Circuit Court judge

Former Ohio Avenue resident Shelley Gaylord invites folks to her election party Tuesday, April 1, at the Eldorado Grill on Willy Street. Don't forget to vote. Shelley is running for Dane County Circuit Court judge after she won 50 percent in the February primary. She has been municipal judge since 1993.

Block party needs

We need someone to pick up road barricades on Friday, June 13, during regular business hours. They are near the Coliseum. We can give you directions. The barricades need to be returned on Monday. A pickup truck has been volunteered...

We also need someone to arrange for a microphone and loudspeaker, which make the talent oh so much braver (and louder).

Last, is there anyone who can photocopy the invitations? Karen will make them. Christine has volunteered to distribute them.

Donations for the street-closing fee can be left inside the mailslot at 133 Ohio. Another $34 is needed. The permit application has been submitted. It will be prominantly displayed at 133 Ohio.

If you can help, please e-mail Karen.

Remembering Elsa

We'd like to collect stories or memories about Elsa, perhaps to share at the June 14 block party. Please send an e-mail or leave a note at 133 Ohio Ave.

Block party set

No one objected to Saturday, June 14, for the Ohio Avenue block party, so plan on it. Are there any volunteers to pick up the street-closing permit application and/or collect signatures? A good time to get signatures is 4:30-5:30 p.m., when people are coming home.
