At a remote research facility, four scientists make a groundbreaking discovery and are thrust into a world of terror. On every holiday, when the family gets together, the quintet secludes themselves to discuss and film a project in the limited time they have together. The eight-minute “Birth of Gruul” is their project from June 2023 that will be shown at the 53704 Frame by Frame Film Festival on November 4, 2023, at the Barrymore Theatre in Madison.
