Mulled over for 12 years, the remodeling project at 133 Ohio Ave. is underway. It has led to a certain amount of disruption in the owner's life.

The goal of the project is to open the back of the house to the morning sun. To accomplish this, the stairs to the basement must be moved inside the house, under the stairs to the second floor. This necessitates (at least in the homeowner's eyes) removing one interior wall, altering another and redesigning the downstairs half bath. Oh, and the upstairs bathroom is gutted because the shower leaked into the kitchen ceiling.
