State transportation agencies to hold December 7 rail meeting
The Wisconsin and Minnesota departments of transportation are holding open house public meetings about the state of
passenger rail in Wisconsin. The Madison meeting is Tuesday, December 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza, 4402 East
Washington Avenue across from East Towne mall.
"Attendees will have the opportunity to share thoughts on possible routes and environmental impacts for high-speed passenger rail between Milwaukee and the Twin Cities," the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's high-speed rail web site reported December 3, 2010.
